Sticker 'Blind angle' BUS France 'ANGLES MORTS'
From January 1, 2021, it is mandatory in France for vehicles with a total permissible weight of over 3.5 t (trucks and cars) to have so-called 'blind spots' marked on the vehicle, in such a way as to provide the greatest possible visibility, especially for cyclists, pedestrians and users of personal transport, and the markings were visible from the sides and the back of the vehicle.
The regulation also applies to vehicles registered abroad.
Exceptions apply to agricultural and forestry vehicles as well as winter maintenance vehicles, road and highway administration service vehicles.
A class 4 fine may be imposed for non-compliance.
