The main reasons for choosing bulb marker lights:
- Marking the outline of the vehicle: They are designed to make the vehicle visible from the outside, for example when parked on the roadside outside the village or in a car park.
- Safety: they increase your safety by alerting other drivers to your position, helping to prevent accidents.
- Traffic saving: They have low energy consumption and are usually used in combination with other lights (e.g. dipped beams).
- Simple replacement: Replacing a conventional bulb is simple and will not cause problems with modern vehicle electronic systems, which may misinterpret the LED as a faulty bulb (unless the correct resistors are used).
- Lower purchase price: bulb marker lights are usually cheaper than their LED alternatives.
